Towards the end of it all...

With steps quicker and wider
In search of instant delight
Like atomic particles thrown into the big collider
Disregarding who's wrong who's right
We are moving surely and blindly
Over the bodies of the fallen
Right towards the end of it all... and suddenly
We decide to stop... but it all keeps rolling

And in horror and desperation
Pulling back on the reins of destruction
Asking God for forgiveness and salvation
From the poison of our own actions
We forget how many chances
All of us wasted easily in their entirety
We forget all those crazy pagan dances
On the bones of love, of hope, of morality...
