Предисловие:
"Stones" is a very powerful and critical poem that offers a harsh commentary on the state of modern society. It skillfully uses imagery of stones and walls to convey a sense of a world that is cold, unforgiving, and built on selfishness.
Stones
As I sit here, I ponder,
A world of discontent,
The lack of empathy,
Shivers uncontrollably,
Across society.
As the sun sets,
On a cloudy day,
The walls surround
Those with
Selfish pride.
They lack tolerance.
Of dissidence,
Voices silenced,
By blood work,
Heartened cowardice.
Society paralyzed,
By the unforgiven,
They're tolerant,
Of stones from the
Liar's wail. |
